Ford viscosity cups provide greater measurement accuracy with a larger volume and benchtop measurement system. Measure viscosity in the same manner as the viscosity cups. Fill the cup with fluid, open the orifice, and record the time until the first break in the liquid stream. Every cup is supplied with a conversion table to determine viscosity in centistokes (cSt) from the elapsed time.
